
The China-Laos Railway transported about 156,000 tonnes of cassava in the first four months of 2025, marking a 43% increase compared to the same period last year and underscoring the railway's growing role in facilitating Lao agricultural exports. To boost agricultural exports and support the growth of the Lao economy, the railway has made the transportation of Lao agricultural products a top priority. The new Suzhou Archaeological Museum opened to the public on May 17, 2025, showcasing archaeological findings from the city of Suzhou in east China's Jiangsu Province and the surrounding areas. The museum features an array of exhibitions, educational classes and interactive activities. After extensive restoration work, a vast tomb from the Three Kingdoms Period (220–280) formed the centerpiece of the collection, which grabbed the spotlight with visitors.
