On December 13, 2024, the City International Communication Innovation Forum of the 2024 Beijing International Audiovisual Conference was held in Beijing. Hosted by the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau and the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area Administrative Committee, and co-organized by the China Intercontinental Communication Center, a dozen provincial (municipal) radio and television groups across the country, heads of local publicity departments, think-tank experts, media professionals, and other guests met to explore new paths, strategies, and practices for cities' international communication, brainstorming and providing insights to help cities enhance their international communication capabilities and overall effectiveness.
