An exhibition titled "Light of the Sun: A Dialogue Between Ancient Shu and Inca Civilizations" kicks off at the Inca Museum in Peru, Nov. 6, 2024.

On August 31, 1986, Sichuan Daily reported on its front page that a Bronze Culture site was unearthed from the Shang and Zhou Dynasties (c. 16th century–256 BCE) in present-day Sichuan Province.

In recent years, as a provincial communication professional institution managed and operated by the Sichuan Daily Press Group, the Sichuan International Communication Center (SICC) has focused on three keywords — "Cultural China," "Youthful China" and "Opportunity China" — dedicated to telling the story of Sanxingdui well and interpreting the colorful China of the new era.

Key to 'Cultural China'

In March 2021, a Sichuan dialect music video "How Fly Am I" went viral across major domestic new media platforms and was globally recommended by the pop music trendsetter Billboard. This brought the 3,000-year-old Sanxingdui artifacts to life online and catapulted them to fame. The Sichuan Daily Press Group seized this opportunity to establish the SICC.
