Liu Xiaohui enlisted in 1999 and was honored with three collective third-class merit citations and three individual third-class merit citations. After retiring from the army, he co-founded Shandong Green Energy Huanyu Low Carbon Technology Co.,Ltd. (Shandong Green Energy Huanyu) with three fellow veterans in August 2020. With a passion to serve the country and contribute to society, he has successfully created a new battlefield for veterans to fulfill their potential. In July 2024, Liu was awarded the title of "National Model Veteran."

Do what you love

In 2018, due to health reasons, Liu chose to retire from the army. Undeterred, he set a goal for himself to find a job within two months, vowing not to idle at home. Initially confident, he soon faced disappointment when no companies offered him a position. Later, through a recommendation from a comrade-in-arms, he joined the Silk Road Group, where he served as the supervisor of the bus terminal, assistant to the chairman, and eventually the general manager of Rainbow Bus Technology Co.,Ltd. under the Silk Road Group.
