The year 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. It is also the China-France Year of Culture and Tourism. From July 5 to 9, 2024, the "Music Bridge" Sino-French Youth Music Salon was successfully held in Ordos, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This event was organized by the China-Europe People-to-People Exchange Association, with participation and support from various departments and institutions, such as the Chinese Embassy in France, China Conservatory of Music, Ordos Municipal People's Government, Beijing MW Foundation and Shandong University.

According to Dong Qixin, secretary-general of the China-Europe People-to-People Exchange Association, the "Music Bridge" Sino-French Youth Music Salon was officially launched at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Rueil-Malmaison in France on May 27 local time. From July 1 to 10, it was held in Shandong's Jinan, Beijing, and Inner Mongolia's Ordos in China. The primary goal of the event is to use music as a bridge to create a platform for exchanges between Chinese and French teenagers, tell China's stories well, convey the melody of peace and friendship, and spread China's voice through music.
