Sixth China International Import Expo Achieves Record High

From November 5 to 10, 2023, the sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai. As the world's inaugural import-themed national-level expo, the CIIE serves as a platform for high-standard opening-up, benefiting the entire global community.

Intentional transactions

The sixth CIIE saw intentional transactions worth a staggering 78.41 billion U.S. dollars for one-year purchases of goods and services, setting a new record high. This figure reflects a notable increase of 6.7% compared to the previous year.

New products and technologies

A total of 442 new products, technologies and services were unveiled during the expo.

Participants

Approximately 1,500 people representing 154 countries and regions, and international organizations attended the opening ceremony.

Exhibitors

A total of 3,486 companies from 128 countries and regions attended the expo, including 289 Global Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders.
