The China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), the world's first national exhibition on supply chains, was held in Beijing from November 28 to December 2, 2023. It serves not only as an open platform for the international industrial and commercial circles to strengthen the exchange and cooperation of industrial chains and supply chains but also as an important window for developing countries to showcase their advantages in these areas.
On Dec. 12, 2023, international students from the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development of Peking University visit the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing.
On December 2, the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development of Peking University organized students to visit the first CISCE, providing them with an opportunity to gain a more in-depth understanding of the development trend of the global industry. What makes these students unique is that they are all young officials from different countries, seeking solutions to the problems faced by their countries and exploring the path to future development and prosperity.
Taking this opportunity, China News Release reporters interviewed two African students — Chitalu Chisanga, deputy head of Investments-Industrial Development Corporation in Zambia, and Moges Takele Bayabl, Ethiopian counselor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia. They shared their perspectives on the CISCE.
