Nanchang in east China's Jiangxi Province played host to the 2023 World Conference on VR (virtual reality) Industry from October 19 to 20. Themed "VR Adorns the World: Integrating the Real and the Virtual Worlds to Boost All Industries," the event was co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province.

The 2023 World Conference on VR Industry attracted over 10 renowned domestic and foreign academicians, dozens of academic experts and over 100 famous entrepreneurs.

The exhibition area spanned around 30,000 square meters and featured more than 200 exhibitors from diverse sectors such as education, film and television, gaming, aviation and sports. They showcased cutting-edge products, technologies and applications in the VR industry, including metaverse, virtual host, digital human, VR guide, and VR postcard and poster.

Cultivating VR industrial clusters

Jiangxi has held the World Conference on VR Industry for five consecutive years since 2018, making it a grand event with international influence and industrial appeal in the field of global VR. As the host city, Nanchang has made good use of the achievements of the conference, accelerated to boost VR industry development, and seized the opportunity to build itself into the capital of the world VR industry.
