The 22nd "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students, hosted by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) under China's Ministry of Education, was successfully concluded in Nanning, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on September 2, 2023.

The grand finals draw to a close.

Organized by the People's Government of Baise Municipality and Guangxi Radio and Television, the grand finals were consisted of four sessions: Creative Short Video, Knowledge Quiz, Sketch Comedy and Peak Showdown. Iva Ilic from Serbia, who also goes by the name of Li Yifan, claimed the global championship title.

It was Chinese Bridge's first offline event after three years of pandemic. The competition started in March, drawing strong participation from all over the world. Over 55,000 college students from 130-plus countries competed in preliminary rounds; among them, 138 people stood out, winning their places in a 21-day summer camp in China.
