According to the biannual report on the Chinese economy released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China on July 17, 2023, gross domestic product in the first half of the year reached 59.3 trillion yuan, up 5.5% year on year at constant price, or 1% faster than that in the first quarter of 2023. This shows that China's manufacturing industry has entered a new period of industrialization, moving from traditional industrialization focused on high growth rates towards a greater focus on high quality as the goal.
As the main driver of the national economy, China's manufacturing industry is placing great emphasis on pursuing high-end, intelligent and green development, a kind of high-quality development which will bring a new form of civilization to the global economy and to society.
