"China in Poetry and Paintings," namely the first Beijing–GBA Youth and Children's Poem Festival and the third Beijing–GBA Children's Art Week, organized by the China National Children's Center (CNCC), the Beijing Youth Federation and the Guangdong Youth Federation, opens on July 9, 2022.
Children represent the future, so in 1982, the China National Children's Center (CNCC) was established to serve the children. The CNCC has since its founding been enjoying aid and support of the Chinese government.
On May 31, 2022, Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a letter to the CNCC on its 40th anniversary ahaead of the International Children's Day, which is celebrated on June 1. He expressed appreciation for the CNCC's work done for China, and urged the CNCC to work harder to safeguard the children's rights and interests and facilitate their healthy growth.
