Hainan authorities have recently issued a three-year action plan and a package of policy measures to shore up high-quality development of fishery in the province, according to a press conference held on March 9.

The plan laid out the key tasks in the high-quality development of Hainan's fishery, including promoting onshore fishery, deep-sea fishery and recreational fishery, expanding the province's market share and supporting innovation in fishery.
