Preliminary estimate shows that the GDP was 56.26 trillion yuan in the first half of 2022, enjoying a year-on-year growth of 2.5% in constant price.

In the first half of 2022, the added value of agriculture (planting industry) grew 4.5% year on year. The total production of summer grain crops was 147.4 million tons, witnessing an increase of 1.43 million tons or a 1.0% increase over the same period of the previous year.
