As of December 31, 2021, the number of CPC members totalled 96.712 million, a net increase of 3.434 million over the end of 2020, up by 3.7%.

The CPC has 4.936 million primary-level Party organizations, a net increase of 117,000 or 2.4% over the end of 2020. There are 278,000 community-level Party committees, 316,000 general branches, and 4.342 million branches.
