IOC Hails Beijing Winter Olympics as 'Very Successful'

The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics has come to a successful conclusion, and as the International Olympic Committee (IOC) showed through a series of figures, it was a grand Winter Olympic Games that had made history both on and off the field.

The IOC said that in the Beijing Winter Olympics, the world's best athletes gave spectacular performances, broke a number of Winter Olympics and world records, and inspired the next generation of Olympic athletes. Meanwhile, the Beijing Winter Olympics also set many records with the most extensive digital interaction, the longest hours of coverage and the most-watched opening ceremony, garnering billions of interactions on digital platforms and over 600 million TV viewers in China alone.
