Yangzhou, located in the central part of Jiangsu Province, on the north bank of the Yangtze River, and the southern edge of the Jianghuai Plain, is the intersection of the Yangtze River and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. If you want to enjoy the earliest spring scenery, Yangzhou must be the best choice. Along the ancient canal, the first sight is a vast sweep of light yellow shoots, where the breath of spring quietly climbs on the willow branches.

Slender West Lake — Charming and Colorful as Ink Painting

Slender West Lake is a famous lake garden in China. In spring, the Slender West Lake is extraordinarily delicate and beautiful, with budding peach blossoms, begonia flowers and blooming magnolias. "Spring Willows on a Long Embankment" is a well-known scene of Slender West Lake. The willow branches turn from light yellow to emerald green, fluttering in the spring breeze, as elegant and leisurely. In the spring mist, the slender, winding lake road strings Angling Mound, Wuting Bridge and White Pagoda, presenting a long scroll of natural ink painting from the view on the bank.

Thousands of years ago, a famous Chinese poet chanted, "For River Town when willow-down and flowers reign." Today, Yangzhou adheres to the development philosophy that "Clear waters and green mountains are just as valuable as gold and silver." With ecology as the background and culture as the soul, Yangzhou is showing its unique charms to the world.
