20.25 trillion yuan

In 2021, revenue in the national general public budget was 20.25 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.7% over the previous year, and in line with the budget. Expenditure in the national general public budget was 24.63 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 0.3%.

3.65 trillion yuan, 1.1 trillion yuan, 2.8 trillion yuan

In 2021, 3.65 trillion yuan of local government special purpose bonds was issued, and further tax and fee cuts of about 1.1 trillion yuan was made. Efforts were put to normalize the straight transfer of funds and the coverage of the mechanism was expanded. Funds totaling 2.8 trillion yuan went straight to primary-level governments, which in turn benefited enterprises and the people.
