Output of 508.9 billion kilos of grain

China saw a bumper harvest this fall, with an output of 508.9 billion kilos of grain, an increase of 9.55 billion kilos, or 1.9%, from a year earlier. The year's grain output reached a new high of 682.85 billion kilos, up 13.35 billion kilos, or 2%, compared with the previous year, and exceeding 650 billion kilos for seven consecutive years.
